Youmacon post!

Hey everyone! So here is the youmacon post I've been promising. This does NOT include the shops or the Lolita I interviewed/photographed separately. Some of these are not actually "Lolita" per se but had Lolita elements or things that could be applied to Lolita. Some are also super casual or medium casual. Sorry the quality isn't very good on some of these, all I had was a point and shoot. If you want me to link to your blog/store please post a link in the comments and tell me which Lolita you are. :) Thanks to everyone who let me photograph them and patiently waited for me to get the shots I needed! (Note, the first photo was taken by my friend, not me.)

Her blog! Check it out.

Hello everyone! Some updates and this week's theme.

So went to Youmacon in Detroit this weekend. I will have the updates from that soon and some shop suggestions from people I met in artist alley. Also a Detroit store review that is perfect for Lolita accessories. :) This week's theme is Sweet Lolita! This is a very commonly seen Lolita themed around light colors, cute, cute, cute, and did I mention cute? Pastels, bouncy skirts, crazy prints, and bows and ribbons everywhere. Shoes and bags tend to be pretty simple but still cute, often adorned with bows or in the shapes of hearts or animals. OTT (over the top) sweet is extremely common at the moment though more toned down sweet is still prominent. So here are some examples. (And here are some sources here here and here)

So cute!
